RAINFOREST HIKE
We will explore a tropical rain forest. Taste guava, coffee, thimble berries and other delicious treats in season. You will see waterfalls cascading from mountain peaks, creating streams below. You will discover uses for Hawaiian medicinal plants.This is one of Hawaii's sacred places, and one of Maui's most beautiful. Bring your swim suit; we may swim in a refreshing stream at the end of the hike.

MOUNTAIN HIKE
The views are spectacular ! You begin your ascent by strolling through a eucalyptus & pine forest. Once your above the trees, you will see Mount Haleakala and the isthmus of Maui. Upon reaching the one mile marker the view is breathtaking ! You will see a lush valley 3,000 ft. deep & a shimmering stream below. An excellent photo opportunity. As you continue upward you will observe the vegetation change. If clouds are present, they will form extraordinary shapes as they dance between the mountain peaks. At the summit you'll relax and enjoy well-deserved refreshments. Now for the easy part. It's all downhill from here!

WATERFALL HIKE
Would you like to stand at the base of a 400 foot waterfall and feel the mist caress your skin ? Would you like to taste delicious fruits freshly picked off the tree or vine, swim in a crystal pool then relax and listen to birds singing? TROPICAL PARADISE TOUR
We walk through an awesome valley, in a lush rainforest, on a trail beside a stream. There is a cornucopia of fruits and flowers to look at and sample along the way. Behold a maze of irrigation canals, dug by hand in the 1800's to water pineapple and sugar cane. Swim in a fresh water pool next to a waterfall. Return to the starting point and continue to a breathtaking mountain ridge trail. Stroll through a pine and eucalyptus forest to a lovely place to bird watch. After pausing to listen to the birds serenade we continue along the ridge to a gorgeous view point 3000 feet above the valley we hiked through earlier. Lay back and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch and a spectacular view. It's superb. The journey lasts six hours. Moderate.
Total of six miles.
